Celebrating Local: A Few of My Favorite Arizona Artists

One of my favorite ways to add heart and soul to a space is through art—especially when it’s made by local creators whose work tells a story and reflects the community around us. Arizona has such a rich, diverse creative scene, and I’ve been lucky to discover so many talented artists whose pieces bring depth, texture, and meaning to interiors.

Here are a few of my current favorites who are making incredible work right here in Arizona:

James Angel

James Angel, @silverspangel

I first discovered Silverspangel at Desert Crafted, and their work instantly drew me in. Their pieces feel ethereal yet grounded, blending natural materials with unexpected textures and forms. Whether it's wall art or sculptural pieces, there’s always a sense of quiet beauty that fits so well in a laid-back, modern space.

Dorielle Caimi

Dorielle Caimi, @doriellecaimi

Dorielle’s work is absolutely captivating—her figurative paintings balance softness and strength in a way that feels both intimate and powerful. I love how her use of color and fine detail invites you to pause and look closer. Her pieces bring a bold, emotional layer to any room. I purchased this one for my own home and can’t wait to show it to you in place!

Miro Made This

Miro Chun, @miromadethis

Miro’s work is all about muted earthy tones and clean lines. Her work as an architect can bee seen in her use of shape and color. I love incorporating Miro’s art in spaces that need a quiet joy and infused texture—it’s like an instant mood booster during your morning coffee or cereal.

Shaunté Glover (as seen at Practical Art)

Shaunté Glover, @shaunte, Currently showing at Practical Art in Phoenix.

Shaunte’s mixed media work has such an incredible sense of texture and dimension. Every piece feels alive with movement and intention. I spotted their work at Practical Art and was struck by the beautiful balance of materials and thoughtful design—perfect for adding tactile richness to a space.

Stepanka Summer (also at Practical Art)

Stepanka Summer, @stepankaceramics. Available for purchase at Practical Art

Stepanka’s ceramic work is quietly stunning. Her pieces have an organic, earthy quality that feels timeless and calming with just the right amount of cheekiness. Whether it’s a handcrafted vase, bowl, or sculptural element, her ceramics bring warmth and authenticity to any room.

Why Local Art Matters
Supporting local artists isn’t just about buying something beautiful (although that’s definitely a perk!). It’s about weaving your community’s creativity into the fabric of your home—making your space feel more personal, meaningful, and connected.

If you’re in Arizona and looking to add unique, locally crafted art to your home, I can’t recommend these artists enough. Each one brings something special to the table, and their work has the power to completely transform a space.

Who are your favorite local artists? I’d love to hear who’s inspiring you lately!
